Step into the world of embroidery with our DIY Embroidery Pin Cushion Project —designed to spark creativity and inspire a love for stitching, just as Karen’s first embroidery book did for her.

When Karen was just 7 years old, she received Sew Simple - Embroidery Sample Book by Millicent Miall as a Christmas gift from her mother and grandmother. That little book opened up a world of color, texture, and tradition, setting her on a lifelong journey with needle and thread. Now, she wants to pass on that same joy and discovery to you.

Each one of our kits is made from upcycled fabrics, pre-sewn and hand-drawn with a simple design. Karen has started the stitches for you — so all you need to do is pick up your needle and bring it to life. No two kits are ever the same — Karen hand-picks the fabrics and thread colors individually, making each one a unique, one-of-a-kind creation. Karen also pins little hand written notes onto the fabric letting you know which stitch has been applied, just to give you that extra helping hand. 

Inside the Kit:
🧵 Pre-sewn pincushion base (cut from repurposed fabrics)
🪡 Needle, pre-threaded with starter stitches
🎨 5 skeins of carefully selected embroidery thread
📖 A leaflet showcasing different stitch techniques
✏️ Hand-drawn design for easy stitching

You'll just need to provide scissors and stuffing!
